Perspective Drawing Template (2 Pages)

$2.99

This printable One-Point Perspective Template Set includes two reference pages to help students understand and build a one-point perspective street scene.

Page 1 shows the basic perspective setup, including the vanishing point, road, sidewalks, and guide lines. Students can keep this page at their desks as a simple reference while they begin laying out their own composition.

Page 2 shows a completed one-point perspective street scene with buildings, sidewalks, trees, cars, mountains, and other details. Students can use this page as a visual reference as they continue developing their own drawing and adding details.

These printouts are meant to be kept at students’ desks while they draw their own one-point perspective artwork. Students are not meant to draw or color directly on the templates. Instead, they look at the reference pages as they create their own composition.

A full one-point perspective street scene with buildings, sidewalks, and objects receding toward a vanishing point is usually most developmentally appropriate for about 5th grade and up. But this year, I’m going to be brave and try it with all of my 1st through 5th grade students!

Watch the One-Point Perspective tutorial here, which will walk your students through how to use these templates to create their projects:
