This printable Giacometti foil sculpture template includes two different versions so you can choose the option that works best for your students.

For best results, I recommend the more detailed template with diagonal lines. This is the version I use with my own students, including children as young as first grade. The diagonal guides make it easier for students to understand the proportions and placement of the head, arms, body, and legs.

A simpler version with vertical lines is also included for students who may benefit from a more basic layout. I wanted to provide both options so teachers can choose the template that works best for their class.

Use the template as a visual guide that students can keep at their desks while they draw these same lines onto their sheet of foil.

I do this project with all of my 1st through 5th grade students.
