This printable Nemes Crown Template gives students a clear visual reference for drawing the striped royal headdress used in the Egyptian portrait project.

The printout is meant to be kept at students’ desks as a visual reference while they draw their own composition. Students are not meant to draw or paint directly on the template. Instead, they can look at the shape, cobra detail, and striped sections as they create their own Nemes crown.

I do this project with all of my 1st through 5th grade students. This project is also perfect for middle school.
